What to Expect from Toyota Safety Sense 2.0

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 will be rolled out starting in mid 2018 on select vehicles, and it will include a variety of updates that make driving a Toyota vehicle around Cedartown even safer. Such updates include:

• Updated pre-collision system with enhanced deceleration abilities to help detect a potential collision with a pedestrian during the day and night and a bicyclist at night.
• Updated lane departure warning with improved road edge detection to help drivers stay in their lane.
• New lane tracing assist, which offers steering support to help drivers keep their Toyota center when using dynamic radar cruise control.
• Updated full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control with improved forward recognition and acceleration/deceleration across a wider range of speeds. (Not available on vehicles with a manual transmission or conventional parking brakes.)
• New road sign assist actively tracks select road signs to alert drivers to any upcoming changes in information via the multi-information display.
• The automatic high beam function stays the same for Toyota Safety Sense 2.0
